There was a large turnout for Standard Pacific Homes Realtor’s luncheon to celebrate the company’s newest single family home community, Weaver’s Pond. The 296-acre community offers ready-to-move in homes starting at $170,340 and three fully decorated model homes are open and available for viewing.

“We were so pleased with the wonderful turnout and enthusiastic response we received from the all-important Realtor community” said Keith Wood, Standard Pacific Homes’ Raleigh Division President. “In fact, several of them told us they were eager to bring their customers out to see the community.”

About 80 Realtors from Zebulon, Raleigh, Wendell, Cary, Apex, Durham, Rocky Mount and Wilson attended the event. “I think many Realtors were amazed at how quickly and easily Weaver’s Pond homeowners will be able to drive to Research Triangle Park, downtown Raleigh, RDU International Airport and other important venues in the Triangle,” Wood added.

Three cash prize drawings were held for those attending the luncheon, which was catered by Lady Fingers. The $1,000 Grand Prize was won by Vicki Robinson from the Creedmoor Road/Raleigh office of Fonville Morisey. The two $250 cash prizes were won by Shirley Wrenn from Parrish Realty in Zebulon and Lesley Hunt from Ammons Pittman GMAC, Knightdale Office.

Weaver’s Pond is Zebulon’s first master-planned swim community and features three distinct neighborhoods –Brookside which will include 272 entry level homes, Silverleaf, a 203 planned homesite neighborhood with ranch and master-down floor plans, and the Clearwater, a 115 planned homesite neighborhood that will feature luxury move-up homes. Standard Pacific Homes has left almost 80 acres as natural open space and has set aside 34 acres for an elementary school.

Homes in the Brookside neighborhood start at $149,900 and include two car garages, covered porch entry, patios, professionally landscaped and sodded front yards, 42” kitchen cabinets, lavish baths and award-winning kitchen appliances.

Homes in Silverleaf start at $185,900 and feature smooth ceilings, professionally landscaped and sodded front, side and rear yards, vaulted, tray or cathedral ceilings in the master bedroom, dramatic arches, hardwood floor foyers and 42” maple kitchen cabinets. Luxury move-up homes in the Clearwater neighborhood start from $293,900 and feature two and three car garages, 12x12 decks per plan, sod in the front, sides and rear, 10 ft. first floors with 8 ft. doorways, extensive trim detail, direct vent fireplaces and maple cascading kitchen cabinets with crown molding and brushed chrome finished knobs.
